Third-Party Notification

Missing a payment can happen to all of us, but is a special
concern for our elderly customers, those who may be seriously
ill and in the hospital, those who have a reading or language
difficulty or those who frequently travel out of the country.
Our Third-Party Notification can help avoid any misunderstanding
and serves as a safety net to keep your power from being
disconnected.
This free service can be set up by you or someone who
cares about you (with your permission, of course) and
provides you with peace of mind that someone will be
notified if your electric service is going to be disconnected
for nonpayment. Through our Third-Party Notification, a copy
of your disconnection notice will be forwarded to a friend,
relative, neighbor or anyone you designate. Your designated
contact will not be responsible for paying your bill but can
help remind you that your bill is due.
Call our Customer Service Center at (413) 781-4300 (within the
Springfield calling area) or 877-OK-WMECO (877-659-6326) (outside of the
Springfield calling area) for more information or to enroll
or send us an email.
