Since 1985, WMECO has supported the Massachusett’s Good Neighbor Energy Fund to help area residents in times of crisis. Through our Add-A Dollar program, we match 50 cents of every dollar contributed to the Fund by our customers*. To be eligible: Your income must fall between 60% and 80% of the estimated state median income You are not eligible for state or federal energy assistance

To contribute:

• Pledge your year-round support by enrolling in our Add-A-Dollar program. Simply mail us your completed pledge form (PDF:7KB). A dollar will be automatically added to your bill each month to be contributed to the Fund. You can discontinue your contribution at any time.
• If you wish to donate more than a dollar, up to $10, to the Good Neighbor Energy Fund, call us at 1-800-286-2000 (781-4300 within the Springfield calling area).
• To make a one-time donation, simply include a separate check with your monthly payment, made payable to the Good Neighbor Energy Fund.
