Residential Discount Rate

WMECO offers a Residential Discount Rate to income
eligible customers. To qualify:
- You must have a WMECO account in your name
- Your household income does not exceed 60% of the state median income
- You must receive benefits under one or more of
the following programs
- Fuel Assistance
- Public/Subsidized Housing
- MassHealth (formerly Medicaid)
- Supplemental Social Security (SSI)
- Food Stamps
- Department of Transitional Assistance
- Head Start
- Massachusetts Commission for the Blind
- National School Lunch/Breakfast Program
- Veterans Chapter 115 Benefits
- Veterans Non-Service Pension Programs
- DIC for Parents of Veterans
- Transitional Aid to Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC)
- Emergency Assistance to the Elderly, Disabled, and Children (EAEDC)
