Environmental Grants
As a stakeholder in the community, WMECO is committed
to protecting and preserving the environment in which we
operate. The Northeast Utilities' Environmental Policy
ensures our responsibility and accountability.
One way we do this is by awarding grants through
the Northeast Utilities'
Environmental Community Grants Program. Grants
between $250 and $1000 are awarded twice a year - in
April and October - in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and
