Small Business Energy Advantage
The Small Business Energy Advantage Program
(PDF:478KB) is
one way we provide technical assistance and cash
incentives for customers designing or upgrading
their facilities, using electrical energy-efficient
equipment.
The benefit of this program is that it provides
cost-effective, turnkey, energy-saving products and
services for small business customers, and has no
up-front customer costs. WMECO pays up to 35% of the costs for energy conservation measures.
Energy Advantage offers a
zero-percent financing option and, because loan
repayment is based on the estimated energy savings,
customers' monthly energy bills remain the same.
Eligibility
All business customers with an average billing
demand between 11 kW and 200 kW are eligible for
this program. Other programs are available to large,
energy-using customers.
