Lighting
We encourage customers to retrofit outdated lighting
with new equipment that provides equal or improved
light output to enhance comfort and safety while
lowering electric energy use. All commercial and
industrial customers choosing to upgrade lighting
systems are eligible for the lighting rebate program;
however, new construction projects are not eligible
for this program.
The amount of the rebate is based on the number of units installed, and is paid directly to the customer following installation by a qualified, licensed contractor and inspection by WMECO.
